Description
TRANQUIL FISH CALMER 8OZ reduces injury during shipping and handling.
Six drops treats one gallon of water; 1.5 teaspoons treats 25 gallons; one cup treats 700 gallons. If water temperature is 75 degrees or higher, increase dosage by 50% to help overcome the increased metabolism of fish.
Shipping fish in water which has a temperature of 85 degrees or higher is difficult and not recommended. Add TRANQUIL to the water after adding the fish. Keep container tightly closed between use.
Ingredients: Acetone, 2-methylquinoline, Carmoisine Red.
We suggest daily partial water changes of 20-30%; siphoning from the bottom of the tank. Always treat the water you replace with a water conditioner such as Better Bait or Finer Shiner. We suggest you keep your water cool mechanically or with ice, especially during the warmer months. Cooler water holds more oxygen.
